Many of our patients choose Gaon Plastic Surgery because of Dr. Gaon’s reputation as a highly trained, extensively experienced surgeon. After graduating from Stanford University with his undergraduate degree, Dr. Gaon earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine. He then completed his six-year residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, focusing on general surgery, trauma, and critical care. Following his residency, Dr. Gaon completed plastic surgery fellowship training at The Methodist Hospital at the prestigious Texas Medical Center in Houston.
As a third-generation physician and second-generation plastic surgeon, Dr. Gaon knew from an early age that medicine was his true calling in life. He felt called to work in the demanding field of plastic and reconstructive surgery because he understands that changes to one’s physical appearance can be a holistically transformative experience that nurtures self-confidence. As a Newport Beach native, Dr. Gaon takes pride in using his skills to benefit members of his community.
